The Birmingham Project

The Birmingham Project was launched at the national AGM in Birmingham in 2017 (when NADFAS became The Arts Society) and aims to develop the traditional Church Trails for Anglican churches to encompass all multi-faith places of worship.

Since 2017 the Birmingham team have produced a number of illustrated guides (see examples below) which provide school groups, within various places of worship, with guided observation of artefacts, imagery and symbols all set against a background of local identity, heritage and belief.  As at the end of 2020, guides for some seven places of worship have been produced.
