The increasingly popular Zoom video conferencing facility has enabled the WM Area to reach another milestone.
On Wednesday 29 April Chairman (designate) Rob Hubbleday hosted a Zoom meeting for all seventeen WM Area Chairmen - possibly the first time that there has been a 100% 'turn out' for these important gatherings, let alone on line. Also participating were outgoing Chairman, Carolyn Trevor-Jones, Secretary, Margaret Locke, and Fifty Treasures co-ordinator, Carol Austin. With very few initial technical issues quickly sorted the meeting dealt with several current issues, including membership renewals and the Fifty Treasures project, and was, overall, a remarkable achievement. Could the WM Area claim this to be another first?
